Article 300

The guardian shall be liable for the damage which may be caused to the minor through his negligence, mismanagement or the fact that he has not obeyed the instructions given to him by the family council or the fact that he has acted in a case in which his interests were in conflict with those of the minor.

Except in the case of fraud, he shall not be liable where he has acted in conformity with the instructions given to him by the family council.

The provisions of this Article shall apply to the co-guardian and to the guardian ad hoc.
