Article 2689
Beneficiary of Life Insurance
(1)
An insurance policy covering the death of an insured person may be made to the benefit of specified beneficiaries.
#(2)
The following persons shall be deemed to be specified beneficiaries notwithstanding that they are not mentioned by name:
#(b)
the subscriber’s children, whether or not born at the time when the policy was entered into; and
#(3)
If the policy does not specify the beneficiary or the beneficiary specified in the policy does not agree, the subscriber may name a beneficiary or substitute a beneficiary for another by will, by an endorsement to the policy, or by endorsing a policy to order.
