Article 2669
Assignment of Property Insured
(1)
Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, if the property insured is transferred the policy shall continue with the assignee automatically substituted as a party to the policy.
#(2)
One month after the assignment the policy shall terminate automatically, unless within that month the new insured declares that he wants the policy to continue. In that case the insurer may terminate the policy within two months after that declaration, with a period of notice of one month.
