Article 983
Succeeding to Possession
(1)
A person who succeeds to the possession of another by succession through inheritance, fusion of patrimonies by marriage or succession to the patrimony of a legal person which has ceased to exist continues an already running usucaption.
#(2)
The same applies to the possessor in good faith who otherwise has acquired possession from another person.
