Article 116
Principle
(1)
The records of civil status may not be corrected except by virtue of an order or judgment given by the Court.
#(2)
The Court may also order the drawing up of a civil status record. On the record reference shall be made to the judgment which has ordered its drawing up.
#(3)
After the order or judgment to correct a record or to draw up a record has become fmal, the Court registrar is obliged to notify the civil status officer who keeps the record which has to be corrected or the civil status officer who has to draw up the record.
