Article 56
Suits Regarding Immovable Property
shall be instituted in the court of the place where such property is situated.
#(2)
In a suit to obtain relief regarding, or compensation for, damage to immovable property held by or on behalf of the defendant, when the relief sought can be entirely obtained through the defendant’s personal obedience, such suit may be instituted either in the court of the place where such property is located or in the place where the defendant resides.
