Article 438
Decree for Specific Performance or Injunction
Where the party against whom a decree for the specific performance of a contract or for an injunction has been issued has had an opportunity of complying with the decree and has willfully failed to do so, the decree may be executed by the attachment and sale of his property and the court shall award the proceeds to the decree-holder in such an amount as it deems appropriate.
#Nothing in sub-Article (1) shall prevent the court from directing that the act required to be done may be done as far as practicable by the decree-holder or some other person appointed by the court, at the cost of the judgment-debtor, and upon the act being done the expenses incurred may be ascertained in such manner as the court may direct and may be recovered as though they were included in the decree.
