Article 429

Release from Detention

(1)

The court shall order that the judgment-debtor be released from detention:

(a)

upon the amount due under the decree being paid into court or to the officer in charge of the prison, or satisfaction of the decree being otherwise obtained; or

(b)

upon the request of the decree-holder.

(2)

A judgment-debtor released under sub-Article (1) may not be rearrested in execution of the same decree.
